This past Labor Day Weekend my friends and I drove 8+ hours to Virginia to celebrate our friends’ wedding. You may remember the 11pm Chocolate Cupcakes that I baked for the bride’s shower just over 2 weeks ago.
The ceremony and reception took place at the groom’s family farm and I was so smitten by all the little details the bride created with her sister/MoH. I still cannot believe they U-Haul’ed the wedding props all the way from NJ to VA. That’s dedication.
One of the groomsmen, Tim, summarized the setting perfectly:
“I feel like I’ve stepped into a Pinterest album…”
I’m going to let the pictures do the talking, but please excuse my point-and-shoot camera quality. I forgot my Canon Rebel and am now repeatedly kicking myself for it…
Don’t you think these are perfect? Who would have a gas pump on their property?
LOVE the wooden signs – very helpful directions too!
Walking down memory lane… + a piece the groom had written about the farm. So sweet!
DIY photo booth – Yes, our groupie spent lots of time here!
Thumb-print guest book, perfect for decorating their new home together! =)
The bride picked out a glass for each guest to match their personality – what a creative idea!
I especially loved mine, perfect for bubblies! She’s fast with the new last name, too! I almost couldn’t find mine.
The bride and groom with Mack, the Chocolate Lab and Maddy, the Golden Retriever… super adorable cake topper!
To conclude, just like any timeless fairytale… they live happily ever after!
Congratulations, Christy & Kyle!
What a fantastical wedding weekend. Thanks for letting us be a part of your beautiful day – the hubs and I wish you & Kyle a wonderful marriage & of course, a happily ever after!
